Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research celebrates World Malaria Day
Jammu, April 25: Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research celebrated World Malaria Day which is observed worldwide on 25th April. On this event, various power presentations and poster presentations were given by PG scholars and students of final year BAMS. The whole session was organized with the main theme i.e Zero Malaria Starts With Me according to WHO Organization.
The whole event was coordinated by Dr. Twinkle Gupta Associate Prof.and Dr. Poonam Gupta Asst.prof of PG Department of Kayachikitsa. The session was organized under the supervision of Chairperson JIAR Mrs Suman Sharma. Managing Directors Mr Ravish and Mr Ritesh, Principal JIAR Dr. Raguveer Singh, Vice Principal Dr Nitin Mahajan.
The whole session was concluded by honorable Principal Dr Raguvir Singh who spoke to the students to aware the people about the hygiene, water preservation, and prevention of Malaria by using insecticide-treated bednets, sprays, clothes covering almost full body, etc to get prevented against Malaria
