DKD to hols 15th ‘Run against Drugs’ in Kathua on Gandhi Jayanti
Jammu, September 17: Chief Patron, Dogra Kranti Dal (DKD), Balwant Singh Mankotia has blamed Pakistan for pumping drugs into Jammu and Kashmir to finance terror activities.
Speaking to media in a press conference at Jammu, Mankotia blamed Pakistan for its latest move to fund terror organisation by pushing narcotics and drug money into J&K and Punjab. He said the drug menace in Jammu and Kashmir has increased manifold compared to the previous year’s resulted youth have been gripping into this menace.
Mankotia said that Afghan variety of drug is being pumped into Kashmir via Pakistan which is further pushed into Punjab and militant organisations are taking benefits by pushing local youth further towards militancy.
Mankotia said Norco -terrorism is the biggest threat to the youth of Jammu and Kashmir and he advised the youth to defeat the nefarious design of Pakistan by saying no to drugs which have pushed the life of youth into darkness.
He also expressed his gratitude to administration, heads of schools, colleges and Jammu University as well as parents of participants who motivated the youth to participate in the Jammu Marathon which recently held in Jammu by DKD.
Mankotia said Dogra Kranti Dal in collaboration with Sarav Dharm Sewa Simiti is also going to organise its 15th ‘Run against Drug’’ event on the eve of Gandhi Jayanti on October 2nd at Kathua.
“Say no to Pakistan’s sponsored drugs and terrorism and Yes to Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s Fit India Mission,” pledged Mankotia.
