Jammu (Samba), September 20: In a Press Conference at Vijaypur, Rajesh Padgotra Provincial President, JKNPP giving warning to the surface Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari and J&K State Governor Administration said “If the work of Toll Plaza at Saror, Patali Morh (Vijaypur-Bari Brahmana) in District Samba is not stopped, the agitation of Dharna, demonstration and chain hunger strike will be launched”.
Rajesh Padgotra while castigating the BJP Member of Parliament Jammu-Poonch constituency Jugal Kishore declared that when BJP was in opposition in J&K as well as centre it had criticized the installing of Toll Plaza and the Govt. Stopped the execution of its work. Now when the BJP is in power, the same dispensation is installing it. Padgotra also declared that the opening of the Toll Plaza at the said spot will entail a great less for the Traders, Students, Industrialists, Vehicles owners and Transporters as well as the general public. The situation in J&K is quite sensitive already and the Govt of J&K is adding fuel to the fire by levying a “Zazia” on the innocent public, such a step is a counter-productive.
Padgotra giving one-week time to the state administration for stopping the work of Toll Plaza announced if the work is not stopped an agitation will be launched with the active participation of public Samba, Sarpanches, Panches and the Transporters as well as Industrialists.
Padgotra appealed to all the stake-holders to assemble at Patali Morh near Toll Plaza on 26th September 2019 at 10:00 a.m to launch the agitation strongly. Among others who attend the Press Conference Khajoor Singh, Ex-Sarpanch, Rakesh Verma, Block President Bari Brahmana, Rohit Sharma Youth leader NPP and Rajbir Singh Jamwal besides others.
