The provision of Praja Sabha during Maharaja Hari Singh Rule and Government Order No. GRLA(A)-80F 1986 Dt. 10.06.186 during Governor Shri Jag Mohan tenure are the evidence that the area is geographically fit for the creation of the District.

He said Prime Minister Modi has a special attraction for our state as is witnessed from the Special Package for our state in addition to the mega projects for all the three regions. He said it was due to Prime Minister Modi that we got the third administrative division in the state. Gupta appealed the delegation to strengthen the BJP at the grass root level and ensure victory for the party candidates in the forthcoming Parliamentary elections. He also emphasized on reaching out to public from door to door, conducting nukar meetings and arranging “Chai pe Charcha” to discuss the forthcoming elections.
Hitting out at Congress, NC and PDP whose successive governments had ruled alternately or jointly before 2014 had ruined the State, this can be witnessed from the period we were in Government as a partner and had received many packages for the State along with the Megaprojects for all the three regions of the state. Gupta further added that “what J&K has achieved in the past four years was never seen in the earlier two decades”.
