Indian Army organised a Drawing Competition for School students
Udhampur, April 16: In an endeavour to motivate the students of rural areas, build their confidence and facilitate their talent, the Indian Army organised a Drawing Competition for School students on the theme ‘Green India and Clean India’ at Green Valley Public School, Gool.
A total of 21 students participated in the competition with a lot of vigour, fervour and enthusiasm. The aim of this competition was to use this platform as an instructive and entertaining method to address the crucial issue of environment conservation in our daily life. It was heartening to see a number of students including girls coming forward to showcase their talent which demonstrated their concern for the cause.
The event was followed by prize distribution for those securing top three positions and special consolation prizes for the enthusiastic participants to boost their morale and to keep up their indomitable spirit. The event proved to be another milestone in fostering a bond of friendship between the local populace and the men in uniform. It was a small step towards identifying and showcasing the immense and unexplored talent of students of the region.
