Jammu, August 12: Aslam Parvesh Khan, Founder Chairman of Jammu Nav Nirman Sena has said that, the “clandestine manner” in which the Centre proceeded to revoke J&K’s special status and reorganise it into two Union Territories, “incomplete exclusion of the opinion & consent” of the state’s legislative assembly amounts to an “authoritarian & undemocratic rejection of all forms of democracy”. Despite knowing that Dogras long pending demand of Jammu Statehood which has been crushed in undemocratic and one-sidedly through a new bill passed in undemocratically.
The Kashmiri Pandits who have faced forced migration and their long-pending demand of Homeland for Kashmiri Migrants has also been crushed through new bill passed undemocratically, Aslam Parvesh Khan reiterates the fact that we the people of Jammu and Kashmir were not consulted and no decision about our future, taken without our consent can be termed as legitimate. The state of Jammu & Kashmir was the only princely state which negotiated the terms of its accession during the proceedings of the Constituent Assembly of India in 1949, consequent to which the Article 370 came into existence without any opposition in order to protect the identity of Dogras. Jammu Nav Nirman Sena urged to Govt to release the Dogra Leaders from House arrest like Lal Singh, Harshdev Singh and others with immediate effect, Aslam Parvesh Khan urged that listen the pain of Dogra leaders and dogra people instead of crushing their voice by putting them under house arrest and remove all curbs on Dogra People and common masses of Jammu.
