Jammu, August 12: Rajesh Padgotra, Provincial President, Jammu – JKNPP while briefing the media persons at Panthers Party Headquarters Jammu castigated the J&K Administration for keeping the leaders of Panthers Party, Harsh Dev Singh house arrest for the last seven days continuously.
The Govt. has clamoured that section 144 has been totally lifted, the Schools and Colleges are functioning, the vehicular traffic is plying on the roads, the Eid is being celebrated with national traditional fervour and gaiety, why the leaders of Panthers Party, Harsh Dev Singh, Chairman – JKNPP has been kept under house arrest. Padgotra further cleared to the media persons that the Chairman of NPP has been kept under house arrest to neutralize representation and voice of Jammu people who are demanding the status of statehood for Jammu.
Padgotra showed his anxiety that on one side the Chairman of JKNPP is under house arrest for the last seven days whereas contrariwise the workers and leaders of BJP are making rejoicings and distributing sweets and there is no house arrest of the BJP leaders which conspicuously shows that the Governor Administration is crushing the voice of Jammu by putting Harsh Dev Singh house arrest.
Others who were present in the conference included Khajur Singh, Joint Secretary – JKNPP, Raman Bali and Rakesh Verma.
