Parade Sports Club and Game Changer XI pose with organisers in the opening match of Veteran Twenty20 Tournament at Parade Ground, Jammu on Sunday
Jammu, April 14: Parade Sports Association (PSA) Club made it a comfortable 46 runs win against Game Chanders Club R S Pura in the opening match of the Veteran TwentyT20 Tournament at Parade Ground, here today.
Earlier, PSA Club skipper, Sanjay Sharma won the toss and decided to bat first. Sailing on the superb batting from Pradeep Bali (57 off 33 balls, 10x4), PSA Club set a target of 164 runs for eight wickets.
Vicky Dogra also batted well contributed 18-ball 38 runs including one six and four boundaries and remained unbeaten. Dhruv Mahajan added valuable 20 runs to the total. From Game Changer, Vicky was the most successful bowler with two wickets.
In reply, Game Changer could not maintain the required run rate and exhausted their quota of 20 overs for 117 runs for nine wickets.
Sachin remained top scorer with 35 runs. From PSA Club, Dhruv Mahajan clinched three important wickets while Narinder and Akshay shared two each.
Later, Pradeep Bali was declared man of the match for his half-century.
