Speaking on the occasion, Chib said that people of J&K were fed up of the corrupt politics of both national as well as traditional parties; hence they want a change now. He further said the Aam Aadmi Party is the only hope for the people of J&K for change. He said people of Punjab need an honest government."Corruption and mafia are the roots of every problem of J&K. Leaders of traditional parties have looted the state and filled their treasury with public money," he said.
"The common people are becoming poor, but these leaders' wealth is increasing day by day. To save J&K, we must eradicate corruption from the state and throw out these mafia leaders from power, said Chib as he targeted opposition political parties. No work can be done in government offices without giving money (bribe). Even after giving money, work isn't be done on time. The AAP will change the entire corrupt system of government offices, he said. Chib said, “Parivartan Yatras and Rojgar Yatras are aimed to reach out to a wide audience with party’s promises. Currently, AAP has intensified its door-to-door campaigning. However, it’s impossible to reach every person, hence AAP has also developed a “Digital Door-to-Door Campaign”.
Chib said, “in J&K, people are looking for a change and a government that will work for their improvement. People of J&K are unhappy with the state of education, health infrastructure, and the lack of basic amenities including uninterrupted electricity and water. To date, several parties have ruled J&K, but none has worked for the common man. However, AAP has developmental model for people of J&K.
Chib advised workers not to talk ill of the opponents stressing need to go to all the houses. Don’t leave out some as they may be supporters of some other party. We need to explain to them our policies and how we stand for changing the system,” he said. While holding a door-to-door campaign, listen to grievances of the people and assure them that once AAP gets voted to power in the state, it will resolve all their issues.People are excited to give chance to a new party and are looking for an honest alternative. AAP will give the honest government,” he said.
Lashing out at both the Congress and the BJP, Chib said they had worked only for their vested interests.“The youth in J&K are facing the highest unemployment rate. Government jobs are available only to people with money and connections. Thus, people of J&K this time want to give AAP a chance. They are tired of the old parties who switch the parties for crores of rupees,” he said.
