Kathua: With the mission to reach out needy, an 11th standard student from Mumbai distributes text books and study material among students of Government Middle School, Mehtabpur, Kathua.
Continuing the social work, Yashvi Agarwal, a student of class 11th from Mumbai, has encouraged the children of Government Middle School, Mehtabpur, Kathua by distributing text books material and other items among the children. She has given a message to the children to move forward in the field of education. This material was distributed among the school children during the program organized in the school. During this, sports, entertainment activities were also done with the children. Government School principal Rajiv Sharma, Yashvi’s grandfather and social worker Pradeep K Agarwal, grandmother Manju Agarwal and others were also present. During this, Yashvi gave a message to the school children and aware about the Covid 19 and how to take precautions as well as other topics including women empowerment, continuous progress in the field of education. Yashvi said that she is a resident of Mumbai and is a student of 11th standard. She said that earlier she had done such programs in many schools in Mumbai as well. This time she came to Jammu and Kashmir in District Kathua and identified the Government middle school of Mehtabpur in Kathua district. In which the school children have been made aware about various issues. She further said that such campaigns regarding social work would continue in future also with the help of their families.
Principal of the government middle school, Rajiv Sharma said that due to social work and dedication of Yashvi who was student of class 11th and her family have specially reached here and encouraged the school children in the field of education and Extracurricular activities and distribute book kits and boxes of pencil. He said that such events should be held, it boosts the spirits of the children. The school management will also give its support for such events in future.
