Jammu: Akshay Sharma, a student of BSF School, Jammu, clinched a bronze medal in the Olympic discipline of Judo in Khelo India Youth Games held at Panchkula Chandigarh.
Akshay brought accolades to the school by showcasing his excellent performance. He emerged as the star Judo player by winning bronze medal in Khelo India Youth Games. He will be participating in Asian Championship to be held in Thailand.
Akshay has been participating in Judo since the age of ten. He first represented J&K in the North Zone Championship in the year 2015. He won Bronze Medal in the sub junior and cadet Judo National Championship held in Manipur in 2019-2020.
