Jammu: Sports and games are an essential part of any student's life. They play a vital role in making students strong and healthy. They maintain mental health as well. JKPS has always tried to train its students to build up their stamina along with physical fitness. It has always stepped forward in taking the initiative to boost the morale of students to participate in every activity.
Also, the coaches have a lead role in this field.
Students of JK Public School, Kunjwani, have always strived for the best. They excel in sports and games. Recently, our young Jkians have participated in various activities at different levels and locations. In 27th Mini, National Volleyball Championship was held at Pune, Maharashtra from 18-26April 2019. This Championship was organised by Volleyball Association of India.
Tashveen Kour participated in this Championship and brought laurels to school Junior National Football Championship U-17(Girls)was held at Kolhapur, Maharashtra from 20-24 April 2019. Tanisha Pal Kour of class XI-C came out with flying colours. SK Singh, the principal, JKPS, congratulated the winners and appreciated the efforts of their coach Shiv Karan Singh and Elijha Sotra respectively
